Crop Consultant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person and remote consultancy services to Harmoniz hi-tech growers in designated regions and support where necessary in other regions.
• Develop and support Select Grower Groups working in a collaborative and transparent model.
• Further the relationships between the NL and Select Harmoniz teams to align strategy, technical advice and seamless ways of working.
• Assist with organizing and executing Select grower conferences.
• Contribute to the weekly farm dashboard analysis of Harmoniz brands.
• Create variety blueprints/ growing manuals for each hi-tech variety to support Upstream & Select Teams.
• Collect and analyze data of varieties and crops (HMZ and competitors).
• Report in the CRM system to make available for the hi-tech internal team.
• Support internal Selection process of hybrids HMZ (internal and external locations)
• Support the breeding team with information and selections.
• Active input on optimizing trials internal and external
• Remain updated of the latest technical developments of Tomato/ Pepper/ Cucumber related to hi-tech agriculture.
• Oversee all production and agronomic management at the Harmoniz NL site
• Support PBD in red demo plan and design

Qualifications:

• A completed HBO/WO degree in Horticulture/Plant Sciences/similar or this level obtained through work experience and/or practical courses.
• Demonstrable years of experience in cultivation, preferably in a high-tech greenhouse environment.
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Experience with climate computers, data management systems, and data analysis- advantage
