Harmoniz unveils Popits™ at Fruit Logistica 2026
Revolutionary snacking cucumber nominated as afinalist for Fruit Logistica Innovation Award.

Berlin, Germany - January 2026 – Harmoniz announces the officialEuropean debut of Popits™,an innovative one-bite snacking cucumber, at Fruit Logistica 2026.
Popits™ has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious Fruit LogisticaInnovation Award and will be showcased at Harmoniz's dedicated booth -introducing the European market to a product designed to redefine the snackingcucumber category.
At just 4-5 cm long, Popits™ is the smallest, sweetest, and crunchiest snackingcucumber on the market. With more sweetness than other mini cucumbers and asuperior crunch, it's the snack that fits every moment - whether on the go, inkids' lunchboxes, or even in a cocktail.
The development process began by identifying a multi-sided gap: consumers werelooking for healthier snack options that delivered on flavor withoutsacrificing convenience,
growers needed varieties that were efficient to grow while meeting marketdemands,
and retailers wanted to expand fresh produce with products people would actively choose. To bridge this gap, Harmoniz partneredwith Mastronardi Produce to develop Popits™ - the mini cucumber designed toanswer all three.
Behind the scenes, Popits™ improved production economics for growers.
Thanks to patented genetic traits, this bite-sized cucumber can be harvestedevery second day - not daily or twice daily like existing mini cucumbers.
This skip-a-day harvest flexibility gives growers greater scheduling controlwhile delivering +10-20%higher yield and -25% less fruit waste. The result is crop production that'smore productive, more profitable, and lighter on the environment.
The impact extends beyond the field. By offering a genuinely appealing optionthat replaces processed snacks with fresh produce, Popits™ sets a new standardin fresh, healthy snacking: Great to eat, great to grow.

Popits™launched in the UK via Tesco in November 2025, with production handled byGlinwell and Agrosol. Selected US retailers have also begun carrying theproduct, with a broader UK retail launch planned for April 2026.
